I founded Renick Law Group with a simple but powerful mission: to provide exceptional, personalized legal representation rooted in integrity, empathy, and real-world experience.

My journey to becoming an attorney began early. At 21, I was accepted to law school — but I chose to postpone that dream to get married and raise a family. During those years, while my three children were growing up, I built and managed several successful businesses, learning firsthand what it takes to plan, adapt, and persevere through life’s challenges.

After my children became adults, I finally returned to pursue the goal I had set aside years earlier: a career in law. Today, I bring the perspective of a parent, business owner, and lifelong learner to every client I represent.

I’ve lived in Washington State since 1998, though my story started far from here. I was born in Monaghan, Ireland, and came to California as an infant with my mom to meet up with my Dad. Ireland remains a part of my heart — I visit often to reconnect with family and roots — but Washington has been home for over two decades.

My personal life has been as full and complex as the cases I handle. I’ve been divorced twice, navigated parenting plans, and experienced the real-world side of the legal issues I now help my clients face. Those experiences shape the way I practice: grounded, practical, and always focused on protecting families and resolving problems with honesty and respect.

Integrity means everything to me. I’m the kind of person who will walk back into the grocery store in the rain if I find something in my cart I didn’t pay for. My clients trust me for the same reason — I take ownership, I communicate clearly, and I never forget that the people I serve are trusting me with some of the most important parts of their lives.

Outside my work, I’m a mother of three grown children, a grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren, and for the past decade, I’ve shared my life with my partner, Brian, a local middle school teacher. I’ve been part of the Ephrata community for nearly 10 years and deeply value the relationships I’ve built here. I believe in experiences over things and strive to make an impact that lasts longer than my lifetime — through my work, my family, and the people I help every day.

As a Marine veteran and former prosecutor, who also has an MBA and a Masters in Management with a specialty in Human Resources, I combine military discipline with an inside knowledge of the opposition’s playbook to lead your legal defense. I entered law to provide the strategic grit and precision needed to navigate your most complex issues. 

Amanda supports our clients with criminal, family, or employment disputes - as well as traffic infractions.

As a Paralegal at Renick Law Group, Maria leverages an extensive background in human behavior and systems navigation. Holding a Master’s in Forensic Psychology, she possesses advanced skills in behavioral analysis and investigative research that provide a distinct advantage in case preparation.

Before joining the legal field, Maria served for over five years in social services. This time sharpened Maria's ability to decode complex regulatory frameworks and manage high-volume caseloads.  She also built a multi six-figure business serving a niche market in children's and adult clothing, but has decided reduce her workload and sew more as a hobby to have a more predictable schedule to spend with her husband and three kids. 

Today, she applies her rigorous attention to detail and dedication to public service to ensure our legal team operates at the highest level of efficiency and integrity.

As a paralegal at Renick Law Group, Zoe brings compassion, a strong work ethic, and a practical approach to problem-solving to the legal field. 

Holding an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies, Zoe combines formal legal training with a commitment to helping others navigate challenging circumstances. Through an internship with a firm that offered free family law clinics for low-income individuals, Zoe gained firsthand exposure to the importance of accessible legal support. This experience reinforced a dedication to approaching each person's circumstances with empathy and care. Hardworking and solution-oriented, Zoe brings that same dedication to supporting the legal team and the individuals it serves.
